Nobody enjoys waiting at a clinic, but the wait itself is rarely the worst part. The worst part is not knowing: how many people are ahead, whether the doctor has arrived, whether it is safe to step out for tea.
We built SaffQ around that idea. Less waiting, and more importantly, better waiting.
Start at the door, not the desk
A patient scans a QR code and gets a token in their phone's browser. There is no app to install and no account to create. That matters in a clinic where many patients are elderly or on a basic phone, and where the receptionist has no time to teach an app.
Show the queue, honestly
The live tracker shows the token being served and how many are ahead of you, with an estimated wait. We are careful about the word estimated. A number that looks certain and turns out wrong is worse than no number.
Keep the estimate honest
Estimates go wrong when the doctor is late, on a break, or called away. In SaffQ, doctors mark themselves on time, late, paused or on a break, and the estimate for every patient updates. It is a small tap that keeps the whole queue truthful.
When plans change
Sometimes a doctor becomes unavailable. Instead of the front desk re-writing tokens by hand, one tap moves the waiting patients to another doctor in order and tells them. Reserved token numbers also let you keep space for emergencies and priority patients without breaking the sequence.
Make the waiting room work too
Not every patient has a phone in hand. A waiting-room display shows who is next and rotates through English, Hindi, Telugu and Urdu, so everyone can follow along without asking the desk.
Protect privacy
Public screens mask patient names and hide phone numbers. SaffQ manages the queue only. It stores no clinical data, which keeps its job small and its privacy footprint smaller.
If your clinic loses time to crowded corridors and repeated questions at the desk, we would love to show you SaffQ.
