LocalDawai is a technology platform that connects you to licensed pharmacies. It does not sell medicines or take payments.
- Prescription medicines are pickup only, and the pharmacist checks the prescription
- Schedule X medicines are never shown or orderable
- Stock freshness is shown, and turns amber when it may be out of date
- Delivery only for non-prescription items, by the pharmacy's own staff
- Pharmacies can cancel, stock is restored, and you see the reason

Pharmacies need the PHARVILO Tablet or Injection plan to connect. LocalDawai is currently in pilot, and we are onboarding pharmacies one by one.

Who do I pay?
You pay the pharmacy directly, when you collect or receive your order. LocalDawai does not handle payments.
Does it cost extra for customers?
No. Prices come from the pharmacy's own list and totals are recalculated on the server with no markup.
Can I order prescription medicines?
Yes, for pickup only. The pharmacist at the counter will verify your prescription before handing the medicine over.
Do I need an account?
No. LocalDawai works in your phone browser, and you can add it to your home screen.
Is my data private?
There is a privacy page and a grievance page in the app, and a documented process for data requests.
